The Maine German Connection (MGC) is a group of German Speakers of all backgrounds in the State of Maine. Our goal is to foster an understanding and appreciation for the culture of German speaking countries and the German language.
Our Stammtisch in Portland meets on a regular basis for an informal get-together. We also host special events and are happy to be a resource for anyone who is interested in learning more about our language and culture. The group is completely free and open for everyone to join. We have many members of all ages and backgrounds and we love meeting new friends.
